Get Glowing: Everything You Need to Know About Spray Tans

We are so excited to be wrapping up this school year. We've been enjoying the weather, we went kayaking this weekend, got to celebrate my little sister's birthdays and my mom's birthday.

Today I wanted to talk a little bit about spray tans. Some people don't even know that we have started offering that.

Spray tans are a great alternative to tanning beds. There's no cancer risk involved in a spray tan.

Typically they will last anywhere between 10 to 14 days. When you are prepping for a spray tan you want to exfoliate, shave, really try to get all the dead skin off of your elbows and knees before your spray tan, preferably like the day before and so that way when you come in you're totally scrubbed.

The day of your spray tan you don't want to have any lotion on your body, no deodorant, anything that is going to put a barrier between you and the tanning solution.

We offer multiple shades. There's lighter, medium, dark, and darker. You can get a violet base, which is going to be cooler. If you have a more olive or yellow skin tone, we have a gold base that has green in it, so it will match your skin tone very well.

I'm more of a pink undertone myself, and I like a violet base. I've been getting spray tans on and off for years.

They are a little bit tacky initially but then they have a really nice finish when they dry. It makes your skin feel really hydrated.

The additives we offer will help give your skin a little boost. It's got some ingredients that are good for anti-aging. We've got some that are really good for moisturizing your skin, and there are some other ones as well.

We have two girls that offer spray tans, Alyssa and Anna Grace, and both of them are really, really good.

Spray tans are a great way to make your skin complexion look more even.

After you get your spray tan there's different ones where you can get a rapid treatment and that usually processes within 1 to 4 hours and then there's one that's like a four to eight hour process and so a lot of

times I'll get sprayed in the evening and then just sleep in it and then rinse it off in the morning.

You don't need to use soap or anything but just rinse off in the shower and that will get the tan to go away and then you're left with a beautiful spray tan.

In order to get your tan to last longer you want to moisturize with a good lotion or good oil anything that's going to help hydrate your skin will help it retain better.

Initially right after you get it you want to try to wear loose clothing something that's not going to be rubbing the solution all over your skin because that can cause streaking and just like an uneven take to the color but just like loose shorts a tank top something like that that's gonna be really comfy and easy

to take on and off when you're getting your tan.

Spray tans start at $50 per session. We offer packages where you can get two, four. I believe it's $90 and then three for 125 so that's best deal.

You can do it every month or you can buy it one time. Just book an individual spray tan.

So I hope this helps answer some of you guys' questions.

I personally love spray tans. I feel like a spray tan is just like makeup for the body and it just makes you feel more confidence.

See you soon. Happy tanning!
