I wanted to share a tutorial with you on how to achieve stunning heatless waves for your hair. Whether you have naturally curly hair or hair extensions, I believe this technique will be helpful for you.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to get those perfect waves:
1. After showering, towel dry your hair to remove excess moisture without making it too wet or dripping. You want it to be wet enough that it's not frizzing, but not so wet that it's dripping all over the floor
2. Put your products in to add hydration, UV protection, and thermal protection to your hair. Make sure to distribute it evenly throughout your hair. My favorite is L’anza Leave-In Cream. I usually part my hair down the sides. I haven't brushed it at this point. I'm applying the product all over my hair.
3. Use a mousse or gel with some hold and apply it in the same way as the leave-in cream, starting from the bottom and working your way up.
4. Gently brush your hair with an extensions brush to distribute the products and ensure even coverage.
5. Now, let's move on to styling. Start by splitting your hair according to your preferred parting style when it's dry.
6. Take a small section of hair in the front and twist it. Repeat the process by twisting the front section over the back and picking up a little more hair each time. Continue this twisting technique until you reach the desired length.
7. When you have just enough hair left to add into your twist then stop twisting. You should have the two sections of your twist (section A and B) plus a section of hair left (section C). Take section C and bring it in between sections A and B. Take each section and bring it UNDER the middle section. Section A then becomes section C. Repeat with section B. This creates our braid! Continue bringing sections until your braid is complete.
8. Repeat the same twisting and braiding technique on the other side of your hair.
9. Allow your hair to air dry or use a blow dryer on low heat to speed up the process. You can also wrap your hair in a towel while it dries.
10. Once your hair is completely dry, unravel the twists and braids to reveal beautiful, heatless waves that can last for several days.
I hope you find this tutorial helpful and easy to follow.
You have a great video tutorial, can you please tell me what you use for the video? I saw some transitions during the video, as well as added text. I want to try to learn editing with www.movavi.com/, maybe you can help with that?
